Carlee's Flower Garden

Last week David, Carlee and myself decided we needed an indoor activity to do...so Carlee chose to plant flower!!! Oh boy what a great idea!!!! Away we went to gather our supplies, and while we were at the store we had a great idea to decorate our own pots for our little flowers we were going to plant!!! Carlee, being the sweetest little thing she is, wanted to make a daddy, mommy, big sister and little sister pot, and of course we thought that was the cutest idea ever! When we got home we went straight to work. Carlee wanted her little pot to be purple, her favorite color, so she started painting it....but that was very short lived. She keeps getting frustrated that she cant "do a good job" so she had me paint it for her. Surprise surprise...i ended up painting all of them. Thats ok though, she was still beside me watching me, and telling me what to do. :)

So after the paint was all dry, we got to put the dirt in them, and FINALLY plant the seeds. She was sooooo excited to do this part. Her and Bailee have the same flowers, and me and David have the same kind. Everyday we wake up and check their water and make sure they have had plenty of sunlight. Oh man and what did we notice today.....MOMMY AND DADDY'S HAVE LITTLE BITTY SPROUTS!!!!!!!! Im sure you can only imagine how excited she was, but she was slightly disappointed that she didnt have a sprout in hers or Bailee's. I told her it was ok, that they would grow soon...and she said "oh ok good mommy, i was worried about them." She is such a sweet, special little girl!!!!!!

New Roads?!?

Ok...so on my way to class tonight I realized I must totally be a home-body now. There were 2 roads that have just gotten paved....when in the world did this happen? Maybe I should get out more. And on another note....I think that EVERYONE should be required to retake the driving test at least every 2 years, because obviously no one remembers what the laws are, or common sense for that matter. I'm done venting now.

Well, I havent been able to update my blog in a few days here lately. Its the end of my last semester of school, and its been keeping me SO incredibly busy!!! But I did take a break this weekend to spend time with my little family...and we got Carlee a kiddie pool!! She was so excited, and today it was finally warm enough to fill it up!!! It is a completely different kind than we have ever had in the past, but we didnt want a plastic one or a blow up one...so we found something right in the middle! It was, um interesting to try and fill up by myself, so Olivia came over and rescued us yet again! What would we do without her, I guess we would have wasps in our house and no pool! So here are some pictures of our first day at the pool in 2011!!!!!

Puff Balls and Worms

Last night me, David and Carlee all played out in our backyard for a LONG time....until my allergies about killed me over. Its weird, when I was pregnant with Carlee my allergies practically disappeared, but now with Bailee they are still here. Sucky!! Anyways, Carlee loves the blowy puffy things (just like in Beauty and the Beast), and our back yard is full of them! She was so cute running around plucking handfuls of them up then just blowing as hard as she possibly could, after she made a wish of course. Its so precious to hear her wish so hard for little things she wants. Shes such a cutie!!!!!!
Now for the worms.....she has been looking for a worm ever since it got warm outside. She had looked under rocks in our front yard, and under things in our neighbors, Daniel and Olivia, yard to. She got so sad when she could never find one!! So last night David was trying to get all the rocks out of our yard and he ended up uncovering a brand new patch of dirt! Carlee saw it and ran out there with her little princess shovel, and found a worm within 30 seconds!! She was SO excited!!!!! After she played with poor wormy for a while she decided to let him free and threw him way up in the air....who knows what happened to him. Im pretty sure he didnt survive the fall though...

Tulips and Bumble Bees!

Yesterday me and Carlee went to my Mamaw's house to look at her BEAUTIFUL tulips!! Well, as everyone knows wherever there are beautiful flowers...there are always bees nearby! And im pretty positive that the whole stare of Tennessee can hear me and Carlee scream when a bee is anywhere nearby. Ive really been trying to work on not screaming and running, because I have made Carlee so terrified of them...its just such a hard thing for me to do. So as we were looking at the flowers Carlee saw a HUGE bumble bee, and went into complete panic mode!!!!! She scared my dad and grandmother to death...they had no clue what was going on. But after much comforting and soothing we finally talking her into playing in the flowers so i could take her pictures. :)

After we took pictures with the flowers her and my dad, Grumpy, ran and played in the yard. It was so cute seeing them so happy together. My favorite picture I took yesterday was where Grumpy and Carlee were sitting on Mamaw's stairs and she was blowing on his cheek. The complete innocence of a child's heart and the happiness it brings to everyone else is a perfect way to describe what I feel every time I look at this picture. I love my family so much!!!!!!!!!!!

Today me, Carlee and David all met Spookey, Bob, at one of my favorite places to eat ever....Olive Garden!! We had to meet Spookey because he wanted me to take some pictures of some prints I am going to be selling for him on craigslist. So we walked over to the side of Olive Garden and took the pictures really quick, and I just happened to notice Carlee was posing in the grass for me. I HAVE CREATED A MONSTER! She LOVES getting her picture taken now, and totally works it in front of a camera! And as you know I can  not resist a wonderful model already striking a pose!!! Im sure people that were eating and driving by thought "who is this crazy pregnant girl out here taking pictures in a parking lot??" If only they really knew how random I really am, that this was not weird for me! My little models pictures turned out so cute, I was totally proud of myself!!! Now if only Mister Sun would come back out again so I can really start on my photography again!! So everyone should hope and pray for more warm weather :)
