Jaeden Michael Akins is here!!!

I am officially Aunt Jacky!!! I have always considered my friends children my nieces and nephews, but there is just something about your baby sister having a baby that really makes the "aunt" feeling come alive. Jaeden Michael Akins was born on March 4, 2013 at 4:58am in Huntsville, Alabama. My sister, Amber, went into labor when she was only 35 weeks, but with lots of prayers, baby Jaeden was perfectly healthy when he was born. Weighing in at 6 pounds 6 ounces, he gave us all nothing to worry about with his health. We are so blessed to have him as a new addition to our predominate girl family!!!

Bailee Kaye Arnold is HERE!!!!

Bailee Kaye Arnold was born June 2, 2011 at 1:30pm. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21.25 inches long!!! She was MUCH MUCH bigger than everyone, including the doctor, was expecting! I went into labor on my own at 4am on the morning I was due to be induced. God had a plan for my special family, and Bailee came at the perfect time!! Here are some hospital pictures of my baby girl!

Bailee Kaye Arnold will be here in only 2 days...and needless to say I'm slightly freaking out!!!! I know I know, I've done all of this once before, but its still always scarrrry to know that you are about to have a little baby. She is going to rely on me for every little need. I really think that I am going to be a great mother to 2 little girls, and I know that Carlee is going to be the best big sister ever! She tells EVERYONE she is going to have a baby sister, and today when she first woke up she said: "MOMMY SISTER WILL BE HERE TO SEE ME IN 2 DAYS!" It was the most adorable little thing in the whole world!

Yesterday we got her the game Pretty Pretty Princess and she totally rocks at playing it! She beat me twice, and I wasnt even letting her win. She won fair and square! And boy was she excited that she won!!!!!! I found my little pink camera yesterday (thank goodness cause i didnt wanna take my big nikon to the hospital), and I took some pictures of her with her winning jewelry on...need I say more...she is a little diva!

My girl is also a sick little diva. Shes had an awful cough for over 3 weeks, and now she has to have breathing treatments. She looks so pitiful while she has to take them, but she says its ok mommy, its medicine for my lungs. The doctor is trying hard to get her all better before Thursday so she will be able to hold sister and not be miserable. So everyone keep us in your thoughts, and pray she gets better soon!!!!!

Miss Bailee will be here soooo soon! I am being induced on June 2 at 8am, and I cant wait to see her sweet littleness!! Me, David and Carlee are very excited about our little addition! I dont really have much to say today, but here are some pictures that we took this weekend.

3 weeks left!!

Oh my goodness, as me and Carlee were going to our favorite store ever (Target) SO many people asked me when my baby was due. And it suddenly hit me....Bailee will be here in exactly 3 weeks, unless i go into labor on my own of course! This makes me so incredibly excited, but really nervous at the same time!!! Even though i have scrubbed my house at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks I still feel like there is so much for me to do! All of her little clothes have been washed, and are neatly hanging in her closet just waiting for her arrival! Diapers, wipes, passies, jammies, shoes, strollers, car seat, blankets, bottles and all that fun stuff are ready...but why do I feel like there is still so much for me to do?? The only thing I have left to finish on her bedroom is find some cute butterfly stickers to put on her walls, and i just cant find exactly what im looking for. I want white butterflies, and I found some cute ones at Target, but they are just the outline of a butterfly and I want them to be solid white. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!! Hopefully i can find some this week, and it will put my little mind to rest, and i will know that everything is completely ready for her arrival!! 

Mommy's Day!

I don't know about all the other moms out there, but I sure had the BEST mothers day ever!!!!! My baby girl painted me a beautiful wooden heart and decorated it (with a little bit of dads help), and David got me BEAUTIFUL diamond earrings!! But the best part of the day was spending time with my wonderful family!!! It was so nice having almost all of my cousins around, and especially my little sister! Her fiancee, Patrick, came and man he play the guitar! It was so cute when he was playing and Carlee was singing...she is actually a really really good singer! Voice lessons just may be in her future. We just gotta get Patty to learn some Taylor Swift songs on the guitar because Carlee is OBSESSED with her music! Thats all we ever listen to in the car!!! (at least its not like Barney or something horrible like that).
When David finally got home from work we went outside to play, and he got to pretend he was the photographer! He actually did a pretty good job taking our pictures! I had to have some of my and my girls (Bailee in the belly still)! Hopefully she will be here soon, cause her little foot being wedged under my ribs is just not cutting it much longer!!!!!!

GRADUATION!!!!!!

I DID IT!!!! Yesterday I finally graduated Chattanooga State with an Associate of Applied Science Degree with a concentration in Web Based Design. I have been going to Chatt State since 2005 ( i did Middle College) and i can not believe its finally over! I have worked my butt off in school, and I wanted to quit several times... thank goodness my wonderful husband never let me though!! So besides looking RETARDED in my cap, and people thinking im morbidly obese in my gown, everything went really good at the ceremony. Im pretty sure no one could tell there was a baby in my belly, and they just thought i was some short fat girl...they probably felt sorry for me. HAHA!!!

Carlee's Flower Garden

Last week David, Carlee and myself decided we needed an indoor activity to do...so Carlee chose to plant flower!!! Oh boy what a great idea!!!! Away we went to gather our supplies, and while we were at the store we had a great idea to decorate our own pots for our little flowers we were going to plant!!! Carlee, being the sweetest little thing she is, wanted to make a daddy, mommy, big sister and little sister pot, and of course we thought that was the cutest idea ever! When we got home we went straight to work. Carlee wanted her little pot to be purple, her favorite color, so she started painting it....but that was very short lived. She keeps getting frustrated that she cant "do a good job" so she had me paint it for her. Surprise surprise...i ended up painting all of them. Thats ok though, she was still beside me watching me, and telling me what to do. :)

So after the paint was all dry, we got to put the dirt in them, and FINALLY plant the seeds. She was sooooo excited to do this part. Her and Bailee have the same flowers, and me and David have the same kind. Everyday we wake up and check their water and make sure they have had plenty of sunlight. Oh man and what did we notice today.....MOMMY AND DADDY'S HAVE LITTLE BITTY SPROUTS!!!!!!!! Im sure you can only imagine how excited she was, but she was slightly disappointed that she didnt have a sprout in hers or Bailee's. I told her it was ok, that they would grow soon...and she said "oh ok good mommy, i was worried about them." She is such a sweet, special little girl!!!!!!

Well, I havent been able to update my blog in a few days here lately. Its the end of my last semester of school, and its been keeping me SO incredibly busy!!! But I did take a break this weekend to spend time with my little family...and we got Carlee a kiddie pool!! She was so excited, and today it was finally warm enough to fill it up!!! It is a completely different kind than we have ever had in the past, but we didnt want a plastic one or a blow up one...so we found something right in the middle! It was, um interesting to try and fill up by myself, so Olivia came over and rescued us yet again! What would we do without her, I guess we would have wasps in our house and no pool! So here are some pictures of our first day at the pool in 2011!!!!!
