I think its so cool that they share a birthday, and its so special for them every single year!!!! Ill post pictures today or tomorrow from birthday parties today!!! Have a great day everyone!

PowPow
Today was supposed to be happy...
Today was supposed to be joyous...
Today is Valentine's Day.
Today my father-in-law passed away.
Sometimes it seems that life is unfair.
PowPow went to Heaven today...
At the age of 53.
He is no longer in pain.
He is no longer suffering.
Cancer is an EVIL thing, everyone who has lost someone to this disease knows it all to well. But while we mourn his loss, there are tears of joy in Heaven. PowPow is with our Savior, and will always watch over us...especially his little grand-daughters. He loved them more than anything. They, along with his sons, were his pride and joy.
PowPow will be missed dearly, and of course, never ever forgotten.
We love you PowPow!!

Big girl so fast!
My smallest princess is getting so big so fast!!! I cant not believe in just 1 week and 1 day she will be 8 months old!!! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. She is doing so many wonderful things now! She says MOMMMMA and DADDDDA all the time, which of course melts my heart. She tries so so so hard to crawl, and can scoot backwards a little bit instead of forwards. Her favorite toy of all time is a little yellow rubber ducky, and of course she still loves her pink silky blankie. Her hair is finally laying down a little bit now...grin...{for those of you who don't know she was born with TONS of hair that stuck STRAIGHT UP}!
She has been sleeping all night for a while now, but every now and then she will wake up for a little 3am snack. I can't blame her though, I still wake up hungry every now and then too. We bought her very first sippie cup a couple of days ago {she has never taken a bottle} and its so adorable watching her try to figure out what to do with it. She got the hang of it I do believe, but she definitely likes to play with it more than she does drink her apple just from it.
I think there is something I should put on my blog that I haven't ever talked about to anyone except my closets friends and family. I know Bailee's adorable ears stick out more than other kids, and the reason for this is because she inherited it from me. When I was little, my ears stuck out just like hers. I had surgery when I was 4 to have them pinned back. I am very thankful my parents chose this for me, because kids are so incredibly mean, and I would hate to have "sticky-outty" ears now. Bailee's ears don't stick out quite as much as mine did, but it is still noticeable. When we were meeting with the orthopedic surgeon a few months ago he said a quick fix for this would be to put a little band over her ears during the day. Well me being thestubborn lovely mom I am, I didn't really want to do this for some reason. I figured her ears would go back on their own....and well they haven't.
I have finally decided to give the head band idea a try for a little while. I am perfectly happy with her adorable ears staying just the way they are, but as I said before KIDS ARE MEAN. I don't ever want anyone to make fun of her for being a little different, or her to feel self conscious about anything on her beautiful little body.
Hopefully the head band will work because I really do not like the idea of my baby being put to sleep {I was a nervous wreck when Carlee had tubes put in a year ago}!! I think she looks so dang cute it her head bands, and I have decided I must learn to make those cute flowers crafty moms are making now days to decorate them with. I feel a craft day with one of my best friends Justina coming up very soon!!! {by the way click here to visit Justina's super cute blog}

First Dentist Visit!
Carlee Kaye Arnold has been given the official A+ on her first dentist visit.
She did so so so good!!!!!!!
We love our new dentist, Mandy Shearer at Soddy Daisy Smiles! They have top of the line technology, and everyone is so incredibly sweet!!! Carlee told everyone how she brushes the cavity bugs away every morning and night...and of course they were so proud of her!! She was so excited about her very first dentist visit, and actually can't wait to go back!!!

Tu-Tu beauties!!
So I know I said in my last post I would be blogging more in 2012. Well in case you haven't noticed....I haven't. Life seems to be so incredibly bust lately, and I honestly have been repelling technology. I feel like I can't focus on having fun with my family if I am always in front of the computer. So from now on I am only going to be blogging when both of my girls are asleep...so I don't take any valuable time away from them. Makes sense right?

Busy little momma
Life has been pretty hectic for me lately...{thats why I have been MIA on my blog for a while}. We had a wonderful holiday season this year, I hope everyone else did as well!!! Now that the holidays are over, I get to focus on my little big girls 5th birthday party! AHHHHH! I can not believe she will be 5 in a month!
{Ok, enough talking about that right now before I start to cry}
This year for Christmas, I didnt take to many pictures. I thought that videos would be a better way to save those precious memories. But the few pictures I did snap turned out super cute!!!!

Christmas Pictures
I am officially a bad mom! I am literally just now getting around to taking Christmas pictures of the girls! I have been meaning to for a couple of weeks...but it never happened.
Bailee can sit up on her own for a while now, so it was perfect timing for her, and Carlee actually allowed my take her pictures for a change!! The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful! I am so proud of my babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
