Christmas Pictures

I am officially a bad mom! I am literally just now getting around to taking Christmas pictures of the girls! I have been meaning to for a couple of weeks...but it never happened.

Bailee can sit up on her own for a while now, so it was perfect timing for her, and Carlee actually allowed my take her pictures for a change!! The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful! I am so proud of my babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prunes for Bailee

Little Bailee has had a tummy ache for a few days. Poor little thing. I tired apple juice, tummy rubs, bicycles and warm baths...but nothing really seemed to help. 

Today at the store I saw prunes and thought

DUH JACKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I threw a couple packs in the buggy {I have no idea how to make homemade prunes} and trotted to the car with a big smile on my face.

With much luck, Bailee absolutely LOVED them!! So to make a somewhat long story short....she ate them all, then licked the pack clean. Silly Bell!!

Brutus and Elf

We LOVE Elf on the Shelf at my house!!!! Carlee has had her little elf, Brutus, for 3 years now...and little Bailee just got her elf this year!! Bailee is still to young to understand what is going on, but luckily big sister Carlee told her exactly what the elves do! 

"During the day time the elves watch us to see if we are good or bad girls. Then at night time they fly back to Santa to tell him if we have been good or bad . Then they hide or do silly stuff by the morning time on their way back from Santa's house."

This year the little elves have only been mischievous twice! The first time they dumped ALL the dirty laundry out all over the kitchen. We were shocked when we woke up!!!! And to top it off, Brutus was trying to make one of Carlee's sock his sleeping bag!!!! Silly elves!

Last night Brutus was EXTRA NAUGHTY!!!!!!!!! While Carlee was sleeping he drew a mustache on her in purple marker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He left her a little note saying: Carlee go look in the mirror. We had no idea little Brutus was even in the bed last night, and somehow Carlee didn't even feel him drawing on her! It was hilarious!!!!!!!!!

Who knows what else these little elves will do this Christmas season?!?!

Daddy Love

I have officially decided to announce that my girls have the most amazing daddy in the world!! I have obviously known this for a long time...but now its time to make it official!! He always plays, reads, hugs, kisses, wrestles, snuggles, changes diapers {and so much more}! But most of all he provides for us so I can stay home from work with them. We all love him so much!!!!!

I'm Blank Because...

I'm weird because...
I can't drink coffee without french vanilla creamer
I very rarely eat breakfast
I brush my teeth with the water running {bad on my water bill I know}
Conditioner makes my hair WAY TO PUFFY...so I only use a little bitty bit
I don't use the same glass twice {makes David mad}
Pork really freaks me out A LOT
When I cook chicken...I lysol the whole kitchen...twice
If my towels aren't all folded the same way I refold them
I use hand sanitizer constantly in public
I only sleep with a puffy down comforter on my bed..no sheet {I get tangled up in it}
I never wear panties {sorry if that's to personal}
I have a phobia of bees {pitiful really}
I can NOT whiten my teeth...very painful experience
I would rather read than watch TV
I yell at David in Walmart sometimes
I HATE being late
I only wear my wedding ring when I go in public
I can't sleep in earrings...or any other jewelry


I'm a bad friend because...
I stay home rather going out
My kids make me late quite a bit {grrr}
I say exactly whats on my mind

I'm a good friend because...
I'm loyal
I'm there no matter what time of day
I dance and act a fool with them
I give good advice
I'll tell them if they have a booger in their nose, or food in their teeth
I love their children like my own

I'm sad because...
My sister lives out of town
My moms dog {Abagayle} is getting old
My father-in-law is sick
I know my grandparents wont be here forever
My Papaw isn't here to see the girls grow up

Me and my family are healthy

The X-Factor comes on tonight
I married my best friend
I made homemade baby food for Bailee
I have amazing neighbors
My hair is getting long again {finally}

I thought it was thunder!!!!!

As me and the girls were drifting off to sleep last night, I knew that it was going to rain pretty hard during our peaceful slumber. No big deal, I can handle a little rain...it always makes me sleep better! Well around 3am me and Carlee both woke up to a loud bang of thunder. I thought it was weird because I didn't ever see any lightening...oh well, we held each other and fell back asleep soon. When David got home this morning, of course I asked him if they had bad wrecks during the storm {people ALWAYS drive like idiots any time it rains}!! He said it wasn't to bad because it just rained...no bad storms or anything. Well, in my little head I was like wait....it stormed here and he was paroling our area. THAT'S STRANGE, he would have heard the thunder just like we did.

Oh well. Nothing to worry about.

Around 9 this morning I stumbled into the kitchen to make my MUCH NEEDED coffee! I threw away the filter from yesterday, and got the pot out ready to fill it up with water. As I was looking out my window at the peaceful rain I noticed......................THERE WAS A TREE ON OUR FENCE!!!!!!

I ran into the bedroom to wake David up, and of course Carlee was screaming "OUR FENCE IS BROKEN...A TREE DID IT!!!"

We both kind of stood at the back door looking at each other like well this sucks A LOT. Then I started laughing....as I had the thunder mystery figure out!!! The loud bang me and Carlee heard was tree crashing down on our fence. I am just so thankful it didn't hit the house!!! Now that would have been a real disaster!!

Give Thanks and Sing Happy Birthday!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know we sure did!!! Except I am a little upset I completely forgot to take pictures on Wednesday when we had Thanksgiving dinner with David's dad. I had my camera set out on the window seal....and that's where they stayed all evening. Even though there are no actual pictures, we all have the wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime!!!!

 And who could possibly forget that it was my Daddy's birthday!! We had everyone over for grilled burgers and a BEAUTIFUL cake {made extra special by Carlee}! It was so much fun!!!

Blah...I dont know about you guys, but I certainly have mixed feelings about rainy day! Just a steady drizzle is perfectly fine with me...but here in the Tennessee Valley there are some pretty strong storms headed our way right as we speak.
