DADDY IS HOME!!!

For many of you who dont know, David has been in the patrol academy in Nashville for the last 10 weeks. We had a lot going on in our family during those 10 weeks as well. I was practically a single mother, and yes while that was extremely hard, I only had an emotional break down once and realized that if I stayed calm Carlee would stay calm as well. God really blessed me with such wonderful friends and family to help me with anything I needed, especially while Bailee was a newborn. I am SO thankful that David is finally finished with the academy, and he is home with his family again!!!!! All of his hard and time away from us and finally paid off, and im so thankful he wont have to leave us again!!!

Miss Carlee has been saying that she wants to be a doctor when she is a grown up...so what a better way is there to prepare for her future than to let her practice. At target we found her a little stethoscope and she has been listening to everyones heart all day long. She is so cute!!!! And Bailee is such a wonderful patient for Doctor Carlee to practice on. I love my girls!!

Lucky Momma

Man am I one lucky little momma to have such beautiful baby girls!!! I know it seems like I brag on them a lot, but thats all I ever think about!! They are my whole world, and have given me so much happiness and joy...I have no idea what I would do without them!!! Here is a little update on how much they are both growing!!!!

Sleepy Heads

Last night Bailee and Carlee both slept so good! Little Bailee slept for 8.5 hours, then went back to sleep for another 4!!! And Carlee slept for 11 hours! We played hard yesterday, and it paid off in rest!!! Im sure ill be taking pictures this weekend, so check back for lots of cute ones!! xoxo!

Thumb Sucker?

Is my littlest princess gonna be a thumb sucker like I was?? Here lately she has been rooting around to try and stick her thumb in her mouth, I let her keep it in there a few times cause its just so cute...but its such a hard habit to break, so most of the time I pull it out. Bless her heart!

Carlee has been the best big sister lately, and she is always helping me with anything I need. She keeps saying she cant wait until Bailee is big enough to jump and play with her. I think shes getting kinda tired of only playing with Teddy. I love my family so much!!

Being Beautiful is PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone ever actually wanted to fix something on them that really didnt need fixing in the first place? Well I am guilty of this. See I thought my teeth werent exactly sparkly white anymore, so I found some toothpaste at Target that had free crest 3d white strips with it...and buddy was I excited to use them!! I stuck those suckers on my teeth on Saturday afternoon, left them on for 30 mins (just like the directions said), then peeled them off and WOW like magic my teeth were nice and white. So I went about my day, and ran to Publix to get some steaks for our cookout with Jay. Then around 5 I noticed my teeth were starting to feel tingly on the ends. Humm...this must be normal and it should go away on its own..right? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As the night went on the pain in my teeth became so much more intense it was becoming unbearable! Finally, I told David I had to take one of my pain medicines. So I got it, poured some milk to take it with, popped it in my mouth, drank my milk to wash down the pill...........HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!! That ICE COLD milk touching my poor teeth about sent me through the roof! So here I am running around looking for a paper towel to hold on my teeth to try and warm them up (yes that was my logical thinking at the time), while David cant breath because he is laughing so hard at me. My brilliant paper towel idea did not work, and I seriously thought I was going to die! Thank goodness I swallowed the pill, and it finally started to ease the pain a bit. After I could slightly relax I just looked at David...smiled...and said "so, are my teeth white?" And after he started to say the WRONG ANSWER of they look the same to me, he QUICKLY came to his senses after I gave him the look of death and said "yes dear they look brilliantly white." Such a smart husband I have right!? So the moral of this story is, I will never EVER whiten my teeth again, and everyone better need to wear sunglasses when I smile cause my teeth better be GLOW IN THE DARK WHITE!

spiffy new roof

At the Arnold house today we are getting our spiffy new roof...finally! As many of you know, we had 3 really bad hail storms last month (SCARY) and we were part of the lucky ones that it damaged our roof. It was nothing major, no leaks or anything, but over time the adjuster said it would start to leak...and we for sure didnt want that!! We found an awesome roofer, and they have been up there banging and scraping around since 6:30 this morning! Haha!! Carlee was so excited they were coming, and she has been up ever since. Little Bailee doesnt really know whats going on, and she has slept through all the really loud noise they are making. I honestly have no idea how she is sleeping. Now for our house to be beautiful like I want it we just have to paint the girls bathroom, and do major landscaping this fall! I cant wait for my house to finally be exactly how I want it, and with lots of hard work from awesome people it will be very soon!!

4th of July!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!! I hope that everyone had as much fun this weekend as we did at our house!!!!! Earlier in the week I made Carlee and Bailee red, white and blue tu-tu's and they turned out so cute!!! Then me and Carlee tie-dyed all of us t-shirts to go with them!! So we got to sport around in our matching shirts today, and everyone just LOVED the girls tu-tu's!
Yesterday, while Miss Bailee was sleeping away inside, Carlee, David and myself got to go outside and play in the sprinkler! As you might guess it soon became a spraying war, and Carlee got both of us good! The little stinker was chasing us all over the yard with the hose, and man was the water COLD!!!!! We had so much though, it was totally worth being frozen!
Later that night we stared to set off the fireworks that we got earlier that day, and quickly found out that Carlee is terrified of them! Bless her little heart, it must have been the noise that they made. It was really pitiful. So while David and our neighbor set them off me, Carlee and Bailee hid inside on the couch, and the whole time I was trying to tell Carlee they wouldnt hurt her, but she didnt believe me at all. =(
Well today, Carlee was playing outside with Teddy while I was feeding Bailee and I heard her scream at the top of her lungs. I ran out there and she had gotten stung by a wasp. It was first ever bee sting, and she survived after much doctoring. Chief Mark came to her rescue to tell her she was going to be ok, and told her to take some benedryl. He saved her she said. =)
