Trick -or- Treat

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!!!

I hope that you are all having a safe and wonderful night {and getting lots of candy!} I just wanted to share a few family pictures for you tonight! My little family had a BLAST trick or treating this year! Big sister was a beautiful Minnie Mouse, and little sister was a precious princess!!!!

I cant forget to share our AMAZING pumpkins we carved! This was by far the most special part of this little holiday. One pumpkin was a cat, and the other {my favorite} was a smiley face made from the girls hands. Bailee's hands made the eyes, and Carlee's made the smile. I hope everyone had special memories this year as well!

Most Beautiful Mommy

Have you ever woken up to a beautiful little girl smiling in your face? Well, I did this morning, and she said something to me I will cherish for the rest of my life. From those sweet little lips came the simple sentence:

"Mommy, your the most beautifulest mommy ever...even more beautiful than Taylor Swift."

My heart instantly melted!!!! How sweet is that?!?! And for Carlee to say I'm more beautiful than Taylor Swift really says a lot...she absolutely LOVES her!

My baby girl has a heart of pure gold, I love her so much!!!!

Carlee Kaye Arnold

Today, as I was going through my files on my computer trying to move them all to disks, I ran across a video I made for non-linear video editing. I thought this class was so stupid when I was taking it because none of it applied to my web design degree...but I am glad that I took it or I would have never made this precious video.

Bicycle and a Bumble Bee named Berry

Wow there is a lot of B's in that title!
Bicycle and a Bumble Bee named Berry.

My big girl FINALLY learned how to ride her bicycle this weekend, thanks to help from her amazing daddy! She got it as a Christmas present almost 3 years ago, and has tried to ride it all alone numerous times. Sadly, she got really scared when she fell off of it last summer {and hurt her knee pretty bad}...and has acted like it was the plague.

This weekend she found some courage somewhere though, and hoped up there like a trooper and was determined to learn.

With her helmet in place, and daddy close by, she started pedaling...and before she knew it David was still standing by the stop sign and she rode all the way to our driveway!!!!
While this may seem like no big to everyone else, this is a HUGE milestone for Carlee {and us}!! Im so incredibly proud of my daughter! GO CARLEE!!!

I am almost forgetting an important part of our day...the bumble bee named Berry!

Just a quick fact about me...in case you dont know me that well...im ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of bees...which makes Carlee scared of them too. I know I know, I should have never acted scared around them so Carlee wouldnt be scared to, but I literally can not help it. My fear of bees is so bad that I would jump out of my Jeep {even if I was on the interstate} if one somehow got inside. Pitiful right??

Well, Carlee found a bumble bee outside, and to my surprise she wasn't scared. After close observation she noticed that one of his little wings was missing. {I guess she thought a bee with a missing wing cant hurt her} Before long, she was trying to pick him up with a piece of paper, and even named him Berry. When it was time to come inside for the day, she blew him a kiss goodbye, and said the animal would fix him right up. Since he was missing when we went back out to look for him she told me that he was flying somewhere with his family, that his wing was all better now. {SO SWEET}

With Berry now flying around with his own family, I told my own family it was time for some pictures! {big surprise there huh} I love them so much, and don't know what I would do without them!!!

Uncle Greg is here!!!

"When is Uncle Greg gonna be here?" "Is he here yet mommy?" "MOM CALL UNCLE GREG!!!!" That is all I heard Saturday morning while she was PATIENTLY waiting for Uncle Greg to come over.

David's mom, her husband {Brian}, brother and his girlfriend {Pam} were coming in town from Knoxville for a visit, and it is always so good see them! Its always so hard to see everyone with our busy schedules...so we cherish the time we do get to spend together!

Besides jumping on the trampoline and playing super-heroes, they rode the HORRID scooter! As most of you know....my husband thought riding it down our HUGE hill was going to be a wonderful idea...{long story short he wrecked bad}. Of course Greg had to try it too, but he would never go to the top of hill {chicken}! I took a video of him, and I will post it later on today.

As always, I took lots of pictures {I just cant help myself}!!

Dear Courtney

Dear Courtney,

I just wanted to let you know how much I love and miss you, and how much you mean to me. While we live SO far away from one another, I know that we are still best friends, and we always will be. I hope that you are doing well in your new life in Sweden, but I cant help but wish you were still living here with me.

We have been best friends since we were little girls, and you know me better than I know myself. We have had our MANY MANY ups and downs, but nothing has ever shaken our amazing friendship. You have been there for me through some of the hardest times in my life, and I don't know if I have truly ever told you how thankful I am for that. You were my hope when I thought nothing else mattered in the whole world. You always stood beside me, defending me when no one else would. You stood up against those who were so incredibly mean to me, and told them they were wrong. Only a best friend would do those things!

I suppose its safe to say we are all grown up now, and not little girls letting our moms slap sunscreen on us like a million times a day before we went out on the lake together. {BY THE WAY YOU USED TO SCARE THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME WHEN YOU DROVE THE JET-SKI} I have so many fond memories of you, and nothing can ever take those wonderful times away. Sometimes I wish we could go back in time, and be the carefree little girls we were...but then I look at my own children and I only hope they find a lifetime best friend, just like I did.

I love you, and miss you terribly!

Your best friend,
Jacquelyn

Enterprise Park

Yesterday my mom, Aunt Jane, Carlee, Bailee and myself all went hiking at Enterprise Park. If you have never been there and you live in Chattanooga YOU MUST GO!! Its right where the VW and Amazon plants are, and it is absolutely beautiful!!!!! Plus you can see how GIGANTIC those 2 plants are....can I just say WOW! They are each like their own little city! Anyways...we drove all through there and finally found the entrance to the park.

If you know anything about my family this little fact will not surprise you a bit....we got lost...twice. The first time was just with parking, so no major damage was done there {besides the fact we drove around the WHOLE park, only to end up in the same exact lot we were in first, after we consulted the handy-dandy map}. The second time was on the trail {yes we got lost even with a map}. In our defense though the map was confusing and the trail cut off so many different ways AND Carlee was getting really tired of walking. We voted it would be best to turn around and came the way we originally came from. Well we still ended up taking a wrong turn and ended up at an adorable little bridge we had never seen before. {oh well...we turned back around and went the REAL RIGHT WAY and made it safely back to the Jeep}

It was a hilarious little adventure..and it definitely made for some wonderful memories with my family!!
